News - Bob Siebenberg - Supertramp drummer

February 2015

Hello everyone... I guess the big news in my life right now is that my son Jesse is expecting his first child at the end of this month. I think he should name him after me, don’t you? Besides that, I have returned to coaching baseball. I am the new Head Varsity Baseball Coach at Yosemite High School.

The oldest rookie head coach in captivity... It’s a round the clock job and I work with kids 18 and under to about 14 or so. I love having the chance to influence young people’s lives and winning baseball games at the same time. We’re in a good league and it is very competitive.

And still ‘The Glendale River’ has two to be mixed before I can say it’s finished. It sounds great and I am confident you will like the record. I’ll have a limited run of CD’s and thinking about a few vinyl.

If you all want to give me some feedback I can decide what kind of numbers to provide. It will be available on iTunes and thru this web site. All the art work and liner notes will be available thru this site as well.

I have spoken to John recently, and he is coming up on his 70th birthday. Did I just say that out loud? Wow! He is happy and chipper and John.

There is some pretty heavy indications that there will be a six week Supertramp tour in the late fall. I’m not sure what the line-up will be. I’ll see if I can fit it into my baseball schedule!

All the best everybody. Thanks for being interested, and keep hammering away at the problems we have with Supertramp on YouTube. Maybe somebody will get the message someday that it’s a bummer for everybody.

Best,
Bob
